Freshing Summer herbal teas: relaxing and invigorating your soul and body!

After the long imposed "lethargy", we all felt disoriented with a more unstable mood than usual and with other new surprises to face. A refreshing and relaxing herbal tea before bedtime and another invigorating one in the morning would be an alternative to sleeping pills and high doses of coffee. I would like to remind you to be careful of the "miraculous" products containing algae or metabolism accelerators since, despite having visible effects in a short term; they also have irreversible harmful effects, especially on the thyroid. Therefore, you can use draining teas (read the article “Birch and mellow give a help for the summer fitness!”).

Linden:

In herbal medicine, dried flowers are used. They contain mucilage, an essence rich in farnesol, various glucosides, sugars, tannins, substances similar to vitamin E. It is a useful plant for winter diseases of cooling therefore in case of dry and fat cough, fever, dripping nose etc. As it induces sweating thus releasing toxins. However, it is useful for kidney and urinary system problems thanks to the presence of farnesol. The presence of mucilage makes it an excellent remedy to relieve pain and improve the well-being of the stomach. Another very interesting use is that aimed at helping insomnia, relaxation and headache. Unfortunately, like every plant, it tends to lower the pressure, so I recommend it with the addition of honey or other suitable sweeteners to the hypotheses.

We prepare the infusion by adding a spoonful of soup in a mug of boiling water and leave it to infuse for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. It cools down and then drink.

If you want to prepare a cocktail, fill the ice molds with the herbal tea and freeze them. Add them in the cold herbal tea ... Trust me, it will be an excellent alternative to the usual drink.

Curiosity: You can make compresses to sunburn or as a drained treatment to swollen eyes as well as being a moisturizer for mature skin with the linden tea.

In herbal medicine, dried leaves are used which are rich in terpenes, flavonoids, carotenoids and vitamin C an excellence antioxidant against free radicals, also useful in preventing the effects of aging. The preparation in the form of herbal tea has
